Closing Reception

Closing reception for The Space Between project, a three week residency at The Shed. Participants used the time to create work on site inspired by the space and the surrounding environment.

Work In Progress

Participants of The Space Between project get to work in the Shed.  The Space Between is a creative collaboration between Galway based arts and crafts practitioners.  For the duration of the residency, participants engaged with the space and the surrounding environment of the docks.  Join us on the 15th September, 6-8pm in our closing reception and take a peak at the creative results of the past few weeks.

The Space Between: A creative collaboration between Galway based arts and crafts practitioners at The Shed, 26^th August - 16^th September 2012.  Participants will confront the space between art, craft and design and through cross-disciplinary collaboration, create work on site in direct response to this debate.

To date participants include, Berni McCabe, David Bog, Jenny McKenna, Joanna McGlynn, Rachael Webb, Roisin Gregory, Owen Quinlan and Vivienne Martin (others to be confirmed).
